Social/Educational Group for Seniors (Age 60+). Meet 3rd Monday at St. Agatha Church.

“We Miss You” Ministry

Reaching out to those who are ill, homebound, or we have missed seeing at church. We call and/or send cards to those who have been away, as well as birthday and holiday cards to those confined at home or in a hospital/nursing home. ALSO, you can fill out a “We Miss You” card at the back table and give it to any of these ladies, or drop it in the offering basket.

Men of St. Simon of Cyrene

Plan social events, faith enrichment specific to men. Assist with community events, outreach, where needed. Every man of the parish is considered a member.

Poetry & Drama Club

Group of all ages preparing and performing works of poetry and drama on occasion for parish and community. Meets 1st and 3rd Sundays after 10:30 Mass for 45 minutes.

Parish Fund Raising

The mission of this ministry is to ensure the financial resources necessary to sustain the Church’s operations, maintain its sacred spaces, and support ministries that advance the Church’s mission. By fostering a spirit of faithful stewardship, it encourages parishioners to generously share their gifts in service of building God’s Kingdom. The resources gathered provide for daily operations, enable outreach to those in need, and support ongoing improvements to parish facilities, allowing the Church to flourish as a vibrant community of faith.

Grady Anderson Guild

Raises funds through an Annual Mardi Gras and fall event. Funds support direct needs for both of our parish worship spaces.

St. Simon of Cyrene Travel & Entertainment Committee

The Travel & Entertainment Committee serves to nurture spiritual growth, strengthen community bonds, and deepen the faith of participants through pilgrimages, retreats, and enriching educational and cultural experiences. These journeys and gatherings are designed to draw believers closer to sacred sites, inspire evangelization, and cultivate fellowship, thoughtfully balancing spiritual reflection, learning, and, when appropriate, moments of rest and recreation.
